Job Description:

Seeking a Logistics Engineering Specialist to support our expanding product portfolio at our Sterling, VA facility. In this role, you'll provide critical program support across multiple areas including asset management and tracking, obsolescence mitigation strategies, component inspection and quality assurance, and training event coordination and support. Our team is growing, and we're actively looking for talented professionals with logistics engineering experience to join us.

Essential Functions :

• Support an efficient PHS&T system { Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation } which introduces minimal organizational delay time or errors, and results in material shipments at the "right place at the right time", thus improving system availability and lowering overall life cycle cost
• Interface daily with PHS&T Lead and Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) to ensure all SMD PHS&T needs are being met
• Perform asset and equipment audits on customer and company owned property.
• Identify, plan, and report the availability and usability of packing materials to PHS&T Lead and/or IPTL
• Process, track, and close-out the shipment of products to and from customer sites, the depot, and possibly OEMs
• Monitor and track the movement of supplies from the stock rooms to operational support in the field. Support depot specific operations as directed
• Must have excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Assist in innovating the strategies for tracking program assets and spare parts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly required
• Preferred Additional Skills:
• Sunflower EAM Tool Experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and computer proficiency
• Forklift certified//High attention to detail and well-organized
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills. Sel Starter. Work Independently
• Skills and Certifications [note: bold skills and certification are required]
• Active TS/SCI w Poly. 2+ to 5 years experience

Seniority Level - Mid-Senior//Management Experience Required - No

Minimum Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent
